How can I be sure that my items will not be damaged during my move?
We understand that you may be worried about your items and whether or not they will be damaged. Highland Park Moving Companies wants you to know that we care about your items and take the steps necessary to make sure they are protected.
We are fully licensed and insured for your protection and in the event that an accident does occur. If an item of yours is damaged, we will work with you to have it repaired or replaced at no charge to you.
Each of our movers has been trained to handle your items with care and pack them properly to ensure the best transition from your location to your new home.
Do I need to move all of my furniture and boxes into a single place in the home?
No. When our movers come out to your home, they will move all of your belongings for you. You do not have to strain your back and move any of the items. When we do arrive at your home, you will need to direct our movers and let them know which items are going onto the truck and which items are staying behind.
Our team of movers works quickly to move all of your furniture and get it onto the truck. One of the things we do request from you is that you remove any obstacles or hazards from the walkways, so that our team can move freely within your home. But don’t worry, we will handle the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.
Can I make an interstate move any time during the year?
Yes. You are not limited to certain times of the year when you can or cannot move. Our team of movers works hard to help you move whenever you want to. Whether you want to move in the winter, spring, or fall, we will help you do it.
It is important to note that summers are usually the busiest moving season, but we can still help you execute your move.
Can I place all of my items on your moving truck?
Yes and no. Our moving truck can take all of your items on it, but it is important to note that we cannot move all of your items. We do have a list of prohibited items that cannot be placed on our truck. If you would like to receive this list, please call our team today and we will gladly send it over to you.
Some of the items we cannot take on our truck include live animals, live plants, chemicals, flammable items, and frozen foods. We ask that you please make additional arrangements to have these items moved.
